You may use Card Alerts to freeze your card with the swipe of a button if it’s lost or stolen. In online banking, select “Set Card Alerts” from the Debit & Credit Cards menu. In the mobile app, select “Card Alerts” from the More menu. 

 

When a card is turned off using Card Alerts, all transactions will be declined, except for recurring payments that have already been set up and authorized. For example, if your card is set up to make automatic payments, such as for an online subscription or membership, the card will continue to make those payments even when the card is turned off.

 

The Card Alerts tool does not close a compromised card. If one of your cards is lost or stolen, please call us to report the card and request a new one. Once you receive your new card you will need to reset Card Alerts settings for the new card.
