Use Elevations Online Banking to transfer money to and from your external accounts.  

Before you begin, please review these important details: 

  • You must be the primary account holder for both your Elevations account and the external account. 
  • The name on both accounts must match exactly for security purposes; to make transfers to an account that’s not in your name, select "Pay Other People with Popmoney" under the Transfers tab  learn more here. 
  • There is a $10 minimum transfer requirement. 
  • There is no fee for external transfers. 
  • Standard delivery of external transfers typically takes 3-5 business days for transfers made before 11 p.m. MST; expedited transfers as fast as next day may be available based on the type of transfer you are making. 

To get started, set up your external account for transfers in online banking.

  1. Log in to Elevations Online Banking. 
  2. Hover over the Transfers tab and select “To and From Your External Accounts.”  
  3. Read the Terms of Service, check the box and click “Sign up now!” For security purposes, you will need to validate your email address with an access code we will email you. 
  4. Select “Add a New Account” and then select the account type using the drop-down menu. Enter the routing and account numbers of the external account you’d like to transfer to and click “Next.”  
  5. To verify your external account, click “Send me two deposits” at the bottom of the page. You can expect the deposits to reach your external account in 1-2 days. 
  6. Log in to your external account within 30 days to view the two deposits. 
  7. After the deposits have been posted, return to the Transfers tab in online banking and select “To and From Your External Accounts.”  
  8. Click on “Accounts” under the Settings menu. Here, you can enter the two deposit amounts and click “Verify.” Your external account is now set up and ready for transfers between it and your Elevations accounts! 

How to make a transfer to your verified external account. 

After you’ve set up an external account for transfers, you can schedule external transfers by visiting “To and From Your External Accounts” under the Transfers tab. Enter the transfer details, review them and click “Continue” then “Confirm” to complete your transfer. You will receive an email notification when the transfer is successfully set up.
